You probably remember where you were when you heard the news. After four long days of vote-counting, the election was called for Joe Biden on Saturday, November 7. The news spread quickly. Many found out not from their TVs or phones but from a crescendo of honking horns or shouts from strangers. People flooded outside, their instinct to see other faces, to share the moment. In our city, celebrations erupted. For many, it may have felt like the first bit of good news in a long time. People shouted, cried, hugged each other, banged pots together, danced, sang.
