Chicken Alfredo pasta has always been my favorite dish to make and eat. It is a staple in my family and we always have the ingredients for it. This dish serves four people, and is a simple recipe that anyone can make.
Ingredients:
- ½ box fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 4 tbsp. minced garlic
- 1 cup parmesan
- 1 cup mozzarella
- 2 tbsp. Italian seasoning
- 2 tsp. olive oil
- 2 tbsp. garlic powder
- Pinch of salt and pepper
- 2 chicken breasts
Instructions:
- Clean chicken breast with cold water and vinegar.
- Pat chicken dry and slice into small pieces.
- Put all seasonings into a bowl and mix.
- Pour half the seasoning on chicken, coating it evenly.
- Heat olive oil on a medium to high pan.
- Lower the stove to medium heat and cook chicken on each side for 4 minutes.
- After the chicken is done cooking, put it on a plate to the side.
- Bring a pot to a boil.
- Add pasta and cook for 10 minutes.
- Once the pasta is done, strain it.
- Heat butter and minced garlic on a pan at medium to high heat until fragrant.
- Lower the stove heat to low, add heavy whipping cream to the pan and let it simmer.
- Add cheese and the rest of the seasonings and stir until it makes a thick consistency.
- Add pasta and chicken to the sauce and mix until it’s even.
