I always love to have a sweet treat after dinner. I want something more than just fruit but not as heavy as ice cream. I initially stumbled upon the idea of yogurt bark a few years ago on TikTok but did not try it until recently. What I love about yogurt bark is that it is so versatile. You can put in it whatever your heart desires. I personally like to add berries, flax seeds, coconut flakes and honey. But you can also add things like chocolate chips, nuts and granola. Below is how I made it, but feel free to be creative!
Ingredients:
1 cup of yogurt
A handful of cut-up strawberries
A sprinkle of coconut flakes
A sprinkle of flax seeds
A drizzle of honey
Recipe:
I started off by cutting up strawberries and putting them in a bowl. I then poured 1 cup of vanilla Greek yogurt on top. I mixed them until the yogurt coated all of the strawberries. I lined a casserole dish with parchment paper and poured the yogurt mixture on top. I then sprinkled on coconut flakes and flax seeds and drizzled honey on top. I popped it in the freezer and let it freeze overnight. The next day, I removed the bark from the container and broke it with my hands so they were little squares. Store in the freezer and enjoy!
