This year’s annual senior run-in took place on Sept. 4. Head of School Russell Shaw’s opening remarks were interrupted by a video of a Bruno Mars impersonator announcing that gold had been found under the high school.

When the video ended, Director of Student Community Programming and high school science teacher Bobby Asher entered the Forum dressed as a miner. He used a tool to crack open a fake rock, which was filled with fake gold coins.
After the coins poured out on the floor, the seniors ran through the Forum, wearing gold accessories as Bruno Mars’ “24k Magic” played.
The seniors gathered at the top of the Forum and began chanting “2024,” throwing gold chocolates to students.

After high school principal Yom Fox addressed the crowd, Student Staff Council president Julian Montes-Sharp gave a welcome speech.
