Nespresso Three Ways

My family recently purchased a Nespresso machine, and to say it’s life-changing would be an understatement. I never used to make coffee at home, but now with our new Nespresso, I make my own coffee every day!

At first, I was hesitant to use the Nespresso because I thought the coffee wouldn’t taste great. But after I saw my mom’s face as she took her first sip, there was no turning back.

When I’m in a rush, I enjoy a cup of plain espresso, but I make a cortado, a macchiato, or an iced latte when I want something more exciting. I also add different syrups to spice things up.

Below are three of my favorite drinks to make. I hope you enjoy them!

Iced Lavender Oat Latte

Ingredients:

1 cup of ice cubes

One shot of espresso

One tablespoon of lavender syrup

One shot of espresso

One cup of oat milk

¼  cup of creamer

Directions:

Fill a glass halfway with ice and add the lavender syrup. Then, add the shot of espresso and fill the glass ¾  of the way full with oat milk. Finally, top it off with your creamer of choice. My personal favorite is the Brown Sugar Oat creamer from Trader Joe’s.

Caramel Macchiato

*This drink can be served hot or iced.

Ingredients:

Two shots of espresso

One tablespoon of caramel sauce

One tablespoon of vanilla syrup

One cup of milk of your choice

Caramel sauce to drizzle

Directions:

Add caramel sauce to the bottom of a glass or mug, add ice if you choose and add the vanilla syrup. Finally, add the espresso shots and the milk. Drizzle with caramel sauce.

Cortado

Two shots of espresso

¼ cup of milk of your choice

Directions:

This drink is super easy to make! All you have to do is combine two espresso shots with equal parts milk, about ¼ cup. You can add sweetener if you like, but I don’t think it needs it.
